As the UK enters another period of lockdown to try and control the spread of Covid-19, we wanted to update our customers on our trading position.
As we are an online retailer, we are permitted to continue trading and are therefore able to carry on processing orders through our website as normal. Wherever possible, we will continue to offer the same 2 working day turnaround of your orders. That means that your orders will usually be fulfilled and delivered to the post office within 2 working days of them being submitted and paid for.
What is obviously outside of our control is the length of time it will take for your parcel to reach you. The Royal Mail have announced that they will continue to operate throughout any lockdown period but have advised that not all mail will reach its destination within their normal timescales. Based on our experience of the previous lockdown, parcels took anywhere between 2 days and 2 weeks to arrive, although to be fair, nothing went missing. Please therefore be patient – your order will get to you, and if it hasn’t arrived after 2 weeks, we will be able to investigate for you.
We have been advised that it will still be possible for local customers to collect their orders from our worksuite at Queens House, Barnstaple, where the reception desk will continue to be manned between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. However, as we will not be at the worksuite every day and we are not able to leave parcels with reception overnight, it is important that once you receive notification that your parcel is ready to collect, you contact us to arrange for a collection date and time. If you come to collect your parcel without prior arrangement, you may not be able to collect it.
